vvfilmf- Kids and Teens International Film Festival was created to create a large film festival for children and teenagers that combines talent and culture, to indicate welcoming places for young people and to offer workshops dedicated to the study of new forms of artistic expression.
#VVFILMF aims to be an initiative aimed at the whole country and internationally to satisfy both the expectations of a young population and those of adult spectators, in an attempt to bring the general public closer to quality forms of cinema. The Festival's programming, despite having children, school-age children and university students as its preferential audience, also opens up with enthusiasm to adults and to the entire population interested in cinematographic art, fascinated by artistic and visual culture, passionate about teaching , pedagogy, fun and educational but also simple entertainment.
It represents a good opportunity to show new training paths, offering a constantly renewed program of cultural activities, and to propose, through the cinematographic medium, respectful skills and fruitful reflections open to all members of the school.
The vvfilmf can cite the High Patronage of the European Parliament, the Patronage of the Presidency of Italian Ministers, the Ministry of Culture, Labor and Social Policies, of Tourism, of almost all the Italian Regions, of many Italian Provinces and Municipalities.
Among the multi-year collaborations that vvfilmf has developed are RAI Cinema, Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo and with RAI Radio 2 and RAI Educational.
Due to the high quality of the selection of films in competition and the professionalism of the work carried out over the years, vvfilmf was chosen by the President of the Biennale Foundation, Paolo Baratta and the Director of the Venice Biennale, to choose a group of young jurors and accompany them in the world of international cinema during the Venice International Film Festival.

JURIES AND PRIZES
For the competitive sections, juries will be composed of the "vvfilmf Kids Jury" who will award the vvfilmf PRIZE to the best film in each bracket.

The "Jury of Quality", made up of experts, critics, journalists, producers and distributors will award the 400-shot PRIZE to the best film among the Festival participants.

The Sponsor POLOMARCONI.IT will award a special prize among the twelve films in competition. This recognition, offered by the renowned company, celebrates cinematic excellence and creative commitment, strengthening the bond between the festival and businesses that support culture and the arts.

The jury's decisions are final.

This festival is unique in its commitment. It communicates very authentically and radiates a lot of positive energy. I have been working with the festival for a long time. This year the cooperation was particularly successful - 2 of my films, which I am responsible for as a festival agent, became prizewinners! It was not possible for me and the directors of "my" films to visist the festival. I hope I can visit the festival in future...I thank the festival very much for everything!

VVFF is by far the best festival we've been to. It is a first-class festival, all the way, extremely well-organized, from the hospitality to the photocalls to the networking to the screening itself. It was a joy to see a theatre of 400 sold out for our screening, and the audience was very enthusiastic and engaged. The Q&A was long and lively. The voting process is incredibly useful - this is a teen's and children's festival and that is who chooses the winners, with a well-monitored vote. So if you want to know if you are hitting your target audience, this is a great test. Our film won Best Feature in two of the three age categories, and this will help us to direct our marketing in that direction. The awards show is also a slick, well-produced affair, again attended by an enthusiastic crowd. The panels were great, and the hospitality was unmatched. We were lodged in a lovely, friendly hotel, we had drivers and translators, and lunch prepared by the culinary school in town. Best of all, every night there was a dinner at a local trattoria, where the filmmakers and festival organizers and volunteers all sat down together at a long table and ate till we burst - four hours of traditional food and wine, and great conversation. Not only did this keep us well fed, but the networking was amazing. I got to know the other filmmakers well, and that was priceless. The gala party on the last night was gorgeous, but a bit of a sad goodbye, because nobody wanted the week to end. Truly a special festival. I hope to go back soon.
