To Ryan, the art of filmmaking comes from the director’s expression drawn by inspirations from his personal life, struggles and perspectives. Whilst the concept is important, Ryan believes that the message carried ends with a question especially when the audience are left to their own interpretation of the presented work. To Ryan, the question is always more intriguing than the answer.
Still on the learning curve to expanding his circle of influence, Ryan often mixes the concept of fine art and film together, believing that the versatility of other art forms enables him to create compelling visuals closest to his ideal concept. Ryan’s approach to his works often involves themes of self-reflection and human psychosis.
Ryan’s personal belief is that the potency of any artist’s work is reliant on the weight of their emotions.
Delirium is a slight unravelling of one of my darkest imagination magnified a thousand times.
The idea is masochistic as it comes from a poem I wrote so I let my characters progress through the story in my head and this is the resolution I ended up with.
What extent could love push someone to the point where he/she falls victim to their own Delirium only to see the manifestation of their own demise right in front of them is true grief to me.
