The Victory International Film Festival 2024. Dates will be September 12-14. 2024.

Our mission is to provide a fun and engaging experience that celebrates film and the community of Evansville. Our opening gala will be held at Showplace Cinemas East, our local movie theater chain. Attendees will view films at Showplace on Thursday and Friday, then at or screening locations on Main Street from around the world while experiencing our revitalized downtown district.

We intend to showcase films that might not otherwise have an opportunity to screen in the Evansville, Indiana market from around the world. We will educate and entertain filmmakers and students by presenting workshops, screenings, and other opportunities to meet and network with others in the industry and to bring an audience to those films.

Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to supporting projects at the historic Victory Theatre at the corner of NW 6th Street & Main.

  • Thanks for selecting "Enter the Room" into your festival. The Victory Theater is one of the 3 nicest theaters that I have ever been to and it was an awesome experience having a pretty large crowd to view my short film, a much better turnout than a handful of other festivals I have been apart of. The Festival Director was very friendly and accommodating, the quality of films shown was high and the cash prizes in addition to the trophies being handed out was a nice addition at the awards ceremony. I had a very good experience overall and definitely plan to submit future projects to Victory International Film Festival.
