untitled [self-destruct]
untitled [self-destruct] is a "trilogy" of experimental short films improvising on the destruction and re-creation of film and movement. The film displays the never ending circle of decay and destruction. Yet, in the end the protagonist chooses to leave this circle.

I've only been working with analog film for about a year. Yet, the process of experimenting with the "substance" real film has been fascinating me for some time. My films show every-day situations distorted, destroyed and/or re-created technically, manually and/or chemically. Yet, the singular beauty of analog film has to show through even the most distorted images.
