Unsung

UNSUNG by Loveman & Pill

Grace Blooming is a talented musician/singer/songwriter in the midst of a graduate music therapy program and on the verge of making it big with her band, "Above the Clouds." Living with her philosophical grandparents, it's sometimes hard to know if she's in school for herself or because it's what her dead parents wanted and expected.

An internship at Children's Haven creates unexpected connections as Grace grows to love Danya, a young girl struggling to recover from the loss of her own parents¬. Enter Professor Edelblute, the music therapy program director who firmly believes that performance and therapy don't mix.

In spite of Grace's long-standing relationship with Josh, the lead singer in "Above the Clouds"¬–we can practically see the sparks ignite when Grace unexpectedly meets Danya's older brother, Michael.

Later, expelled from school for abandoning clients in favor of a rehearsal, Grace is ready to walk away from her education when she realizes the impact she has had on Danya and the other kids and decides to first make sure the holiday concert she had taken responsibility for is organized enough to happen without her. Along the way, she discovers that maybe it's the rewards that are unsung that speak the loudest in our hearts.
