From the co-founder of Philadelphia Unnamed Film Festival comes the Unnamed Film Festival -- a weekend of film, discussion and coffee.
Founded by Alex Gardner, the mission of the Unnamed Film Festival is to promote free thought and fair-minded discourse while providing filmmakers with a low cost alternative to main stream film festivals.
Gardner is the director of the Philadelphia Unnamed Film Festival and programmer for South Street Cinema. He has also worked with Another Hole in the Head, Buffalo Dreams and has been an entertainment journalist for over 15 years.
All accepted films will be shown at CineMug -- Philly's popular video rental / coffee shop. Founded in 2015, CineMug preserves the tradition of renting physical media in the city of Philadelphia. It is also the host of weekly film screenings and is supporter of local artists, filmmakers and independent film.
WHAT TYPES OF FILMS WILL BE ACCEPTED?
The Short Film Festival will accept any well made short film that provokes thought and conversation. This includes fiction and nonfiction films up to 30 minutes.
Winner of best short will have their film screened at PUFF 2019.
