Director Statement

I've always been captivated by the concepts of life after death and the complex emotional connections that bind people. With Unbound, I had the opportunity to delve into both themes through a dark yet heartfelt narrative centered around Matthew and James—two soulmates eternally linked but never fully united in any of their lifetimes. The story is driven by the lingering pain of unrequited love and unresolved hurt that stretches across lifetimes, capturing the intensity of their bond and the tragedy of always being just out of reach. This film explores the haunting nature of love that transcends time, yet remains forever unfulfilled.
