Toronto Film Channel Awards was created as a screening platform for virtual film festivals. We promoted and screened films for other film festivals. The channel became popular and we realized many artists prefered to have a competition at Toronto Film Channel as well.
Therefore we created the Toronto Film Channel Awards, an IMDb qualifier festival and a screening platform with a bi-monthly and annual event dedicated to international and Canadian features and shorts of all genres.
We do not just successfully screen films for other film festivals but also have our own competition. The award winning films of each edition can choose to promote and screen on Toronto Film Channel to industry professionals, friends, cast, crew and families on social media.
The films will not stay online. The films are non-downloadable. We have created an audience of thousands of film industry professionals and artists who enjoy watching our films. We also promote our winners in Toronto Film Magazine.
Toronto Film Channel seeks to promote, award and screen international and Canadian films of all genres. We have created many breakthroughs in the career of talented filmmakers.
We have promoted, screened and awarded well known and established directors in film industry and emerging indie talents. Every year, we promote and screen over 500 shorts and features from all over the world.
