Johanna von Salmuth is an independent producer living in London.
Before she studied at met film school, she started her career in Berlin, Germany as a second assistant director on the cinema film “The Audition”, directed by Ina Weiss. Throughout that time she worked on several films as an Assistant Director & moved her way into the production team since 2021. She worked as a production manager on the feature film "7 Keys", produced by Cassandra Sigsgaard & Dylan Rees. Next to her work, she started to produce and direct her own award-winning films, like TO MY DYING MOTHER & THE GIG.
Combining her love for dance and film together with music and other art is one of her biggest passions and is aiming to find like-minded people to collaborate with.
This film is very close to my heart because it combines all my passions; activism, dance, music, poetry, the love for our mother earth & film.
This film fights for the things I am fighting for and shows that we need to take care of our earth our dying mother that we are actively destroying. We need to wake up and not be treated as the best species on earth, we are the reason why climate change happens and we need to wake up and do something about it.
