WE PROVIDE A COVID-COMPLIANT LIVE EVENT WITH THEATRE SCREENINGS, WORKSHOPS, NETWORKING EVENTS, AND AWARD SHOW, AS WELL AS A STREAMED ONLINE EVENT FOR EVERYONE.
Join our International Film Festival, The ETHOS Film Awards, formerly known as the TMIF Impact Awards, for our fourth season.
Created by purpose-driven producers, directors, and actors, ETHOS Film Awards (EFA), held in Los Angeles in November 2022, is an International festival that celebrates courageous talent. We see the art of film as a unifier that transcends all cultures and languages creates a vision for a better future. The ETHOS Film Award Festival is all about highlighting the impact and meaning of the story. We call this artistic approach "purpose-driven," be it a script, film, documentary, music video, reels, composition, and more.
Founded by actor/filmmaker Anabelle D. Munro and her team of seasoned, and passionate industry professionals, the ETHOS Film Awards have one goal in common: we want to support other filmmakers and create a platform for diverse voices from all over the world.
EFA has partnered up with the Los Angeles Asian Film Awards, The Newsfest, and presents the "Flow Project", helmed by Hollywood legend David Frankel, as one of our socially relevant program's highlights for the upcoming season.
The ETHOS Film Awards were created to connect our purpose-driven filmmakers with seasoned, and likeminded industry professionals that want to impact the world with a powerful message. Together, we provide incredible resources and an exciting and wide variety of industry experts, seminar speakers, and celebrity panelists.
Our Festival is open to ALL filmmakers and writers of all genres and lengths. All submissions must make a creative and poignant statement, initiate a critical dialogue, and make a difference in those who view it or read it. If you have a social impact message film, be it subtle or straightforward, we want to see it.
The ETHOS Film Awards 22/23 will run LIVE from November 10 to November 13, 2022, in Los Angeles, where our award winners will be honored. Seminars, after-parties, events, and screenings will all be live, as well.
Past ETHOS Film Award / TMIF Impact Award Winners, seminar speakers and guests include Industry powerhouses such as producer Lee Broda (poet, activist, and producer of films such as Scorsese's "The Card Counter," "The Kindergarten Teacher," "A Private War"), director Roger Christiansen (Friends, Hanna Montana), 2-time Emmy winner Jerri Sher (Quiet Explosions), actor/director Jeremy Taylor (It, It chapter II), actor James Franco, actor Winsor Harmon (Sarogeto, The Bold and the Beautiful), actor / director Daniel Baldwin (My Promise to PJ), Jacques Thelemaques (director and CEO and founder of the L.A. Filmmakers Alliance), Entrepreneur Joe Polish (Genius Network), and many more.
We proudly and strongly support purpose-driven minority and female filmmakers, and offer a first-look distribution opportunities with JD3TV and Green Apple Entertainment.
The ETHOS team truly applies their heart energy and appreciates it more than words can express when we see the same approach expressed in the submissions we receive. We care and want to see you and your career flourish for creating movies that matter.
We understand that networking and creating opportunities is a key element to make your submission count. In 2022 we have created a Hybrid event to ensure a live event, where we screen our finalists, as well as an online portion for all selected submissions, panels and guest from all over the world.
We look forward to reviewing your work from a perspective that is often overlooked and under-appreciated in film.
Hope to see you in Los Angeles to celebrate and support you and your work!
