Everyone has their fascinations, their interests, what keeps them constantly thinking. It’s these things that lead to great stories, the stories that flow onto the page and allow one to create something that is truly incredible. My fascinations lay with the worlds of science fiction and the dynamics of human emotion.
It’s hard to say exactly what drew me to create this film, but what I can say is that it really came to me more in an “ah-ha” type of moment, rather than tossing things back and forth. I wanted to create a world for these characters to live in that doesn’t feel just like science-fiction, but a reality that could really be in the near future. This required a certain dynamic to the character’s emotion, connecting them across different time streams and all coming back to the central need of the main characters. It’s not only a story of how far one will go to save those he loves but of how disregarding others in the process can lead to dire repercussions.
