Joseph Ferreira Campos was born in Brazil to an English mother and Brazilian father. At the age of five, his family moved to England where he spent the next few years, attending school and adapting to English life. The following years involved moving backwards and forwards between Brazil and England and it was during this time that an interest in cameras and film began to develop.
Since that time, Joseph has continued to pursue his passion for film and taken advantage of every opportunity possible. In 2013 he attended a course run by the British Film Institute (BFI) where he took part in many different film-making activities. The following year saw him team up with an editor friend and co-write a script – Frangite Viniculum, their first short film. This was directed by Joseph and completed and released by Greenstone studios later that year. This year has seen the filming of Lamb’s Damnation, a more ambitious short film from the same partnership. Filming took place over three nights and the film is currently in post-production with a release to follow shortly.
He is currently studying at Ravensbourne University, London on their Digital Film Production course.
