Director Biography - Luca Immesi

I am a director, filmmaker and screenwriter with passion for photography.
I graduated from European School of Economics in Mass Communication and broadcasting validated by Nottingham Trent University and I specialised in filmmaking at New York University.
My works have aired on various TV networks, such as Rai, Sky Cinema, La7, PBS and have participated in various film festivals such as the Venice Film Festival, Fantasia film festival, Shanghai film Festival, Copenhagen Pix, Cinema Mediterranéen Montpellier.
My first feature film: "Ritual - A psycho-magical story" with the legendary Alejandro Jodorowsky. My second film: The Awful Wars.
I am part of the 100autori Italian Directors and Screenwriters Association.

Director Statement

The origins of figurative art date back to the first engravings on the walls of the caves.
A natural tendency of man to leave a mark over time.
In our contemporary world, the phenomenon of Street Art is among the very few innovations capable of handing down mystery and depth. Following Qwerty project, street artists who are part of the Roman underground, I embarked on a poetic, provocative and surreal journey.
