Director Statement

I chose to direct this film in order to illustrate the titular thought experiment of the Stamp Collector in an emotionally engaging way. I also wanted to blend anguished psychological fiction like Dostoyevsky’s "Crime and Punishment" with retro, grungy sci-fi seen in video games like "System Shock" or films like "O-Bi, O-Ba: The End of Civilization"
