Is it possible to make a documentary about surfing filmed right here, without huge waves crossed by young athletes? What could it tell us? Could it uncover some wonder, some detail that is hidden from the senses because it is so close? The universe proposed by this documentary is based on this concern, and offers an inquiry into surfing as a way of inhabiting the days. It is, at the same time, an exploration of the gaze of the everyday. Camila, its director, invites us to recover the whispers of a heritage that is also an invitation to perceive the sea and its sounds, the textures of a mobile landscape. Navigating the experiences of people who have chosen to connect their days to the movement of the waves, including one of the first female professional surfers in our country, the story leads us to a little place called Quequén, on the coast of Argentina, where the whole family, regardless of age, flows in the game of the encounter with the embrace of the sea.
