In 2010 he began working at CATALEPSIA FILMS, a small production company, as a writer and director, where he made his first short film, “18”, which made the festival rounds in 2012, and honed his skills directing various music videos for local bands. In 2013 Ibáñez worked as second unit director on LA SEMILLA DEL SILENCIO.
In 2014 Daniel joined Colombian director Felipe Cano Ibáñez’ production company LA MAGDALENA FILMS, where he now works as a screenwriter, developing various film and TV projects for local and international markets.
