Director Biography - karni and saul

Biog karni and saul directors 2018:

Bafta nominated directing duo Karni and saul.
like to create what they call "casual fantasy”, a place where beautiful photography and film can meet animation and magical elements.
They love a good juicy visual and an emotional gripping story.

In 2010 Karni & Saul showcased their short film ”Turning” made with BBC, which then went onto feature at more than 30 festivals worldwide winning three, and was nominated for a BAFTA in 2011.

Their second short film “Flytopia” was commissioned by film4 ,based on a fantastical Will Self story with original score by Adrian Utley from portishead. It has featured in more than 30 festivals worldwide.

Karni and saul were Selected for Berlinale talent campus 2013.have made films for Random acts and Nowness platforms.

They are currently developing their first feature film with creative England and bfi, writing an animated kids series for the u.s. , and creating shorts music videos and commercials, as well as dance films.
