Private Project

the other side

This excerpt follows the daily lives of two unemployed young men who, as usual, meet at the corner of the street in their poor neighborhood. They engage in aimless and strange conversations to fill the silence and pass the time, dreaming of soaring far away from their miserable reality and passive roles as observers. They try to imagine an alternate reality where they can move to "the other side," where they believe life is possible. The two friends discuss various plans and schemes, but ultimately remain stuck in their current situation, illustrating the struggles and dreams of young people in difficult circumstances.
