My name is Nathan Howe. I recently finished my BA in Film Studies at Tulsa University. My goal is be in the film industry. When I was 12, my dad gave me my first camera. From that day on, I am always thinking about the next shot I am going to capture.
The mentors in my life are my family, friends and collaborators. They are my closest supporters and are always pushing me to do better. The people who I work with are the inspiration and fuel I use to continue in my filmmaking. I admire so many current filmmakers such as Nolan, Burton, Spielberg, Lucas and Tarantino to name a few. I have also been inspired by Coppola and Hitchcock. I love the new technology that has changed filmmaking. I look forward to learning more about my craft as I work with others in the business.
I am proud to say that the cast and crew of this short film are still working together and have agreed to continue working to create a second episode of “Office Geeks”. The vision for this work came from actually working in the comic con business. The idea is to develop a story that follows real life events that take place in the comic con industry. Many of the characters are real people doing real life work in an office of “Geeks”.
