A passionate of cinema, Martin participated in many independent short films. He currently occupies the position of production designer for the Québécois humour website phenomenon “Knuckle Heads”. Previously, he accrued nearly a decade of experience in the world of video games and animation. This is his first take as a live-action film director.
As Matthieu was submitting an album cover illustration conceived by Martin and Samuel to his music band , Duy, who's a close friend to the band's member, was also present. A bond quickly started to form. Sharing common taste for music and films, they all wanted to co-create and collaborate on a project. A music video for the band was originally proposed, but shortly after Duy submitted instead a short film script related to a news story that fulfilled everyone.
Partly financed through crowdfunding and having donated our free time in this long and difficult production process, we are happy and proud to present "The Gas Station" with the fruits of our labour and collective passions.
