The Detention Room

Four strangers, Calvin, Flor, Marcus and Al have all fallen into a coma after traumatic incidents in each of their lives. Calvin tried to hang himself. Flor was in the middle of giving birth. Marcus was in a bus crash. Al was also involved in an automobile crash. Their bodies are still alive, but their souls are trapped in the “Detention Room,” a chamber in-between life and death. Clerk Johnson, the moderator of the room, explains to the new arrivals that in order for any of them to leave the room and survive, one of them must volunteer to stay.
