Director Biography - Delfina Ure

Delfina Ure is a newbie film-maker born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Her story, The Coverup Girl, has resounded loudly in the hearts of people around the world, but most of all within the Buenos Aires community where Delfina and her family are from.

Since the release of the film in January 2017, The Coverup Girl has given momentum to advocacy groups fighting sexual abuse in Argentina and has gone on to provide for Delfina a much bigger platform through which she continues to deliver her message of hope, healing, and catharsis to a hurting, yet resilient, audience worldwide.

But since its release, The Coverup Girl has given me a freedom I had long prayed for while it strengthened my faith, courage and resolve to live life truly and fully as myself -- broken open and unashamed."
