Director Statement

The Better Half (2017) was inspired by a desire to challenge—and savage—the conventions of traditional romantic comedies. Thanks in great part to my collaborator [Adam Borrego] and a talented and tireless student cast and crew, I believe the film succeeded in that aspiration.
