The film is dedicated to Indonesian fishermen, as one of Indonesia's maritime movers, who strive to fight for their lives in the middle of the sea.

Director Statement

I spend almost every night before sleep to asking myself "What is reality, how to define it?" I believe that before i make a film, i have to know about my film’s reality and my own reality. Each project i make represents how i see this phenomena world and the reality. I want to creates film that have something to say about me, not because i want the world to know who i am, but i want to share my point of view about this world, my worldview. Before i made this film, i remember i’m asking myself. “What is my country to me? What is Indonesia in my eyes?” Then i woke up the next day remember that my whole childhood is about ocean life since my childhood home near a lot of beaches. I decided to capturing the beauty and the simplicity about the maritime with my co-director. My hope is that you can see how i define my reality.
