From the moment of first contact you know there is something special about this festival. The professionalism of Nancy Puetz (Director) and the dedicated festival staff is impeccable. The event is well organized and thoughtfully planned. Communications are direct and informative, as is the marketing materials used to promote the films, the filmmakers and the festivities. The staff and patrons are discerning and enthusiastic and actively engage the filmmakers during the Q&A sessions. The Mockingbird Theater was the perfect venue. As a filmmaker, I was welcomed and I felt my art was appreciated. I highly recommend this festival to other filmmakers and/or anyone who enjoys watching indie films with a crowd of intelligent, like-minded folks.

We were so very honored that our film HEROES’ HONEYMOON won the Judges award. Sadly, due to a filming conflict we could not attend in person but the communication from the staff and the personal call from the festival director emphasized the care this festival has for filmmakers. I highly recommend submitting. If your budget is limited this needs to be on your list.
