O'Sullivan was born with Tourette Syndrome, Autism, and OCD and spent his life growing up with bullying, discrimination and trying to find himself.
He found a passion for the art of movies and would frequently visit the local Cinema on a near daily basis. It was doing this and collecting old cameras such as Camcorders, Super 8, and SD Cameras that he found his calling... to be a Film Director. He has since formed Movie Making Media, directed twelve short films.
I wanted to make a film that does two things... break the stereotypes on clowns, and tell An autism story. When you see clowns in the media, you think scary or killer clowns like Pennywise or Art the Clown from the Terrifier films, but really they are nice normal people who even at their lowest, will put on the make up and a happy face, so you can feel better.
With this film we wanted to combine the two and at its heart, it is a story of legacy. We hope to film the film soon, and have a pre-production poster you can see. When the film is made, we hope to make the film the best we can, emotional and intimate, a story of kindness and legacy.
