Director Biography - Sarah King

Sarah is a multi-disciplined artist, screenwriter, animation titlist and producer who is now showcasing her skills producing community access programs with Shaw TV in Edmonton.

Sarah's career in the cinematic and television arts started over twenty years ago. A graduate of Victoria Composite High School (now Victoria School for the Arts), MacEwan University's Theatre Production program, and Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts, Sarah has always had a creative commitment to the arts. During the 90’s, Sarah performed onstage at the Jubilee Auditorium, Citadel Theater (1992-93 Teen festival of the Arts) and as a background performer for various films in and around Alberta, B.C. and the United States.

Sarah formerly worked with Disney Studios and ABC Family entertainment from 2005 till 2012 with roles ranging from Associate Producer to animation and story/script development.

Sarah now, volunteers her time doing Community Access Producing with Shaw TV in Edmonton, and enjoys working in the arts, filmmaking and production management.

Sarah is also the owner and Executive Producer of Tachyon Production Studios, a local creative arts, media production company that specializes in creative consulting and production for film and television. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys culinary arts, story writing, animation and is a big My Little Pony ‘Brony’.
