Slow Wave Sleep - Parresìa
From "L'Ultimo Uomo", the brand new concept album of Slow Wave Sleep (Emilio Larocca Conte), an artist from Basilicata, Italy, who lived Bologna for 11 years after many travels around Europe (Berlin, France and Eastern Europe).
A record that embraces the fears of the future in the digital world. The music texture stands between fine electronic, the sweetest Italian indie rock all with dark and noir glazes.
SLOW WAVE SLEEP starts in 2015 as a music project aimed to create soundtracks for surreal stories. Inspired by Ernst's paintings, Kafka literature, Richard Wagner's drama, Buster Keaton's irony, and visionary musicians like Björk, King Crimson, Gorillaz, Rammstein, he has nourished a distinctive eclectic style over a wide range of influences and genres also open to other forms of expression, such as movies and video games.
The entire production was centered around Rèfles, a fictional character, and his daily struggle through a first-person point of view of his dreams. So far, three works have been published, including the Hypnagogic trilogy consisting of a concept album, a short film and a three-hour guitar suite, produced with the participation of 43 independent artists and companies, such as Moviedel and Petroglyph.
In 2017 he signs with Cockroach International Production, an independent Italian label for the publication of his new album "L'ultimo Uomo".
Available on January 27th in CD Version or streaming audio/download in all the main online stores.
