Sunflower is a film that looks at the hostile relationship between a father and his daughter, the effect that his death has on her and how she deals with the loss. It’s a commentary on the influence of positive affirmation and effective communication between parents and their children.

Kunmi Ogunsola is an Nigerian-born aspiring film maker based in Manchester, UK. With a BA in Architecture from The University of Manchester, he decided to rather pursue a career in Filmmaking. He has three independent stage plays under his belt, of which he holds writing, directing and acting credits. However, Sunflower is his first cross-over to film with many more projects in the pipeline. He is currently in pre-production on a 6-part web series called Millennials, his latest project set for an early 2018 release.
