Graduated in Management and Economics with a degree thesis in film business, in 2013 he founds with some colleagues Kalispéra, a production company based in Tuscany. Working for companies and brands he develops competences in the video communication and advertising industry as well as in filmmaking.
In 2020 Petta founds Sisyphus, his own production company focused on cinematic works. Summer Nights (2021) is his first short film.
Summer Nights was born to give voice to an urgent need of expression in a time of sorrow caused by a separation. Is it true or not what is lived during the magic night? How much authentic and concrete can a moment of intense love be considered? And how much ephemeral and intangible instead? Eventually, is it really important to know whether it was a dream or not?
All these doubts are concentrated in the final gazes and even more questions arise. Are they staring at each other, even if not together any more? Or are they addressing to the spectator asking for an explanation?
