The escape of confessors

The hatred accumulated over centuries against the Catholic Church was expressed radically within the context of the Spanish Civil War. Its conservative ideology, contrary to the interests of the working classes, provoked the outbreak of a revolt that led to intense religious persecution, so violent that witnesses who witnessed it still remember it. A real war crime that weakened international support for the Republic.

Director Biography - Enric Roca

Sociologist and multidisciplinary artist, trained in cinematographic language within the context of non-professional cinema in the seventies. At the end of the seventies, he frequented the alternative film circles, acting as a critic in the newspaper Regió 7 and maintaining a fruitful activity in the production of short films. Later he studied pictorial experimentation at the School of Art of Manresa, a training that has allowed it to trace an open creative itinerary that alternates from pictorial activity to visual experimentation. At present, he channels his creative projects alternating visual experimenting and pictorial activities. Previous work:
