Director Biography - Robbie Gibbon

Robbie has worked on productions including Mission: Impossible, Kingsman & Doctor Strange in the position of assistant editor. This has given him the opportunity to learn from some incrdibly talented filmmkers.

Robbie takes this experience & applies it to the stories that interest him through all manner of projects from short films, web series & sitcoms. He regularly produces projects with comedic talent, is a member of The Old Vic’s Community Company as well as the Guild of British Film & Television Editors.

Robbie is looking to develop his work & confidence producing work that speaks to & is distributed to a wider audience.

Director Statement

Such is Life was a fantastic opportunity to take the audience on a suitably surreal adventure. Through the madness it was key to ensure the series maintained a grounding of the feelings of loneliness & a desire for belonging. That way the audience could grasp a recognisable anchor allowing them to then enjoy the adventure.

We have since developed the web series into a full pilot & series outline & are aiming to take the project further.
