story of the eye (why is the kitchen dirty?)

The film is an homage to Bataille's History of the Eye, as well as an attempt to explore the boundaries where Eros and Disgust merge into one another.
The slime is the medium that accompanies us into this journey, a journey that overwhelms us the more we abandon the safe territory of our everyday, embodied actions in order to open ourselves up to sensuality and immerse ourselves in it, in search of the corporeal presence of the senses themselves.
All of the persons involved are performers as well the persons behind the camera, at once observing and being observed, in the attempt of disintegrating the object-subject duality, focusing on the action of looking itself, as a wandering eye declining itself into multiple forms, us, looking, as well as the eggs, looking back, an eye staring into itself, unwrapping its possibilities, unfolding an orgy of looks.
