Steve's award-winning debut short film Swiped won the 2019 Silver and Peoples Lovie Award. It was also nominated for the Edinburgh TV Festival New Voices Award for best pilot, the 1.4 Awards and was an official selection at Palm Springs, Encounters and other Oscar & BAFTA qualifying festivals. He was recently commissioned by Channel 4 to write a sitcom pilot based on Swiped. Steve's second short film A Mind Full won the 2023 British Comedy Guide Pro Talent Award for directing.
