ONE STEP AT A TIME
In July of 2016, three ultrarunners attempted to capture a new Fastest Known Time across the Oregon section of the Pacific Crest Trail.
Although they ran together, each runner had to cover the full 453-mile long trail on his own two feet. This is their story.

Pursuit Films
An Oregonian and world-traveler, Steven has produced films in the United States, New Zealand, and in South Korea. In the past three years Steven moved back to Oregon with his family and began ultrarunning and back-country skiing. He has embraced the mountain-loving Portland community where he enjoys combining his filmmaking passion with his adventurous outdoor spirit.
This film, ONE STEP AT A TIME, has been the most ambitious project I have attempted to date. The small budget (the project was self-funded by the three ultrarunners in the film) and difficult filming conditions made for quite an adventure and fostered life-long friendships. The goal of the film was not only to bring eye-candy and inspiration to mountain lovers, but also to create a story that peaked the interest of non-mountain folk, people who don't relate to mountain-running culture; I believe we achieved both our goals. We are excited to share this amazing journey with the world!
