Director Statement

'Split!', was somewhat of a daunting, and complex film to deliver. One thing for sure, I knew that I wanted to explore making a film based on visuals, and plot devices. However, working with the child actors was tough, due to their first filming experience ever; yet it was fun, and understanding simultaneously. Overall, everything worked out great, sustaining patience, and diligence; and making sure that we followed through with the vision I had in mind.

During pre-production, we made sure to conduct proper table reads with the boys, while mentoring, and unlocking their inner acting potential. Brandon A. Cueto-Yenty's performance was incredible, which brought up my attention to take him under my wing, and make him my protege, who is now Junior CEO, of Kuroi Entertainment.
