Born and raised in Rome, Marcello is 26. After a first bachelor's degree in Law, he graduated in Philosophy with a thesis about creativity and imagination across Kant, neuroscience and the russian director Andrej Tarkovskij. Meanwhile, in 2014, he realized La vita è (Life is), his first short movie. Since then, he took part in eleven other shorts, participating as first AD, general manager, production assistant and screenwriter. Spira(g)li (Glimmers) is his second film. He currently works for several film companies as both as author and as director.
Every living being needs to be loved. For better or worse, everything revolves around empathy. In this view, I consider making movies one of the most effective forms of art to create, share and transmit empathy.
