Director Biography - Sami Hawka

Bachelor in Communication Sciences and Arts from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

Relationship Anarchy, their first Cinematic Series, was selected for the International Circuit of the Rio WebFest 2024 (Brazil) and the Official Selection of The Panama Series Festival 2024. It won three awards—Best National Microseries, Best Actor, and Best Actress—at the Cusco WebFest 2025, as well as the Special Jury Prize at the Web Series and Film Festival 2024, among other distinctions.

As a co-writer, Sami participated in the 2024 International Competition at Clermont-Ferrand (France), where the short film Sheep and Wolves premiered. The film was also selected for festivals such as AFI Fest, Palm Springs, Raindance, and more. It received awards at the Lima Film Festival, Zaragoza Film Festival, Shorts Mexico, among other honors.
