somewhere not far

Vahid Navidian, born in 1985 in Iran, Tehran. I continued my studies at university in the field of filmmaking. I have been working in this field for about 12 years. I started working as an assistant director on a film, and after a few years, I started making a film. I made a documentary about the extinction of Iranian handmade carpets. The next movie was about jewellery stones. I made a three-part documentary series, " Here is Iran " which deals with culture, civilization, antiquities and the people of Iranian cities. The film has been nominated for several international festivals, UKIFF the London Unifar Festival. I made a film about a strange island in southern Iran called "60 Degrees and 37 Minutes." I made a short film about the indiscriminate felling of trees and the destruction of the environment, which aired on city and subway television for a few months and was nominated for Best Short Film at the Film Festival. I made a few promotional teasers. I also made a 23-part series about the environment that aired on television. I wrote two screenplays for short films. I also made the short film "Season 9". I wrote the semi-feature film " Somewhere not far " and directed a recently completed film about the immigration of a mother and her two children. I am currently writing a screenplay, and I am looking for new experiences in my work.
