Entering its’ first year, Something Wild Film Festival is gearing up to become a must stop for all filmmakers in November. Located in Durango, Colorado, this festival's inaugural year will take place at two venues a parking lot across from each other with the gorgeous back drop of the La Plata and San Juan Mountain ranges. This festival will have nightly events, within walking distance from the theatre venues.
The program will be an extremely tight selection with a diverse program mixing classic independent films, a unique themed block of films, have an honored guest filmmakers, while showcasing the brightest, most exciting new material from all over the world.
Only submit your film to SWFF, if you think your film is unique and powerful enough to satisfy the public’s desire for original bold powerful masterpiece.

Rules & Terms

Feature length films will be required to provide a DCP and DVD back-up no later then two weeks prior to event.
All shorts must have sent files that are downloadable within 3 weeks to the festival.

Notifications of film selection will be on a rolling basis with first notifications beginning in late September and the last films notify in Mid-October.
