Adam Sutherland is a storyteller. Growing up in the suburbs of Birmingham, AL imagination was abundant, from playing with the older neighborhood kids, going to summer camp, and spending time with grandparents on the farm. It all started at an early age of 6, making music videos, dancing to James Brown and Michael Jackson. Performing and storytelling was just something that came natural at an early age thanks to the patronage of his family.
The rich culture of the South inspired Adam to pursue a degree in Communication Studies at The University of Alabama with a minor in Creative Writing & Film. One of the most powerful experiences during school was performing on the Speech & Debate Team his senior year, and attending the American Forensic Association National Tournament with the Alabama Team, ranking 7th in the nation.
Shortly after graduation, Adam drove out to Los Angeles to begin his career in television/film. His outlet of performance came quickly with standup comedy, sketch comedy, and background acting gigs, followed by working as a freelance production assistant. Adam has worked on a variety of network/cable/online productions from CBS, Nickelodeon, Game Show Network, and PBS through on-set production, editing post-production, and acting with SAG-AFTRA.
Adam is proud to present his first short film narrative, SOLITUDE.
I'd like to thank my parents.
