Silent tears
Silent tears (a music short film, 9 min.)
Cry. Whether silent, hidden, secret, desperate, ashamed and oppressed - it is about the crying that no one sees. On the train, at university, at work, with friends, on the road or at home... We show the vulnerability of the human soul, which is often not visible, but always present. The tear is symbolized by various forms of water, it surrounds and pervades our daily lives. River landscapes, raindrops, washing, crying, drinking or cooking... The film shows the loneliness in daily life. We want to make the loud, fast-moving everyday world and the sensitive inner world of humans tangible.
The river becomes the metaphor of the thousand tears, the tears of humanity.
The venue moves from private living space to urban life.
The music of the film is based on the Mexican folk song "La llorona" (The Weeping Woman). The vocals and the saxophone form an exciting dialogue: sometimes quietly whimpering, sobbing, panik talking, up to the great lament. Then again silence and emptiness.
The viewer can expect an experimental music film full of drama, melancholy and poetry.

completed her musical training in singing pedagogy at the Music Academy in Graz and then attended the opera school at the University of Art and Music in Vienna. Lessons in flamenco dance and jazz improvisation deepen her artistic development to this day. Engagements at the Volkstheater in Vienna, at the Bavarian Chamber Opera and in independent touring theaters have taken her through Germany, Poland and Austria.
She is also in demand as a concert singer for masses, oratorios and recitals. Concert tours with various professional choirs with well-known conductors such as Jonathan Nott, Nicolaus Harnoncourt, Michael Gielen, Claudio Abbado and others. led them through Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Together with other musicians, she develops unusual concert programs with which she gives guest performances throughout Germany.
In the Corona period she started to deal with music films. She wants to express the unspeakable with her voice and pictures. The pictures are the outside world, the music, what lies underneath.
