Born in 1994, Arne Kasten startet studying audiovisuell media at Stuttgart Media University in 2014. With the short "SHATTERED", the German filmmaker makes his directorial debut.

Director Statement

In SHATTERED, two people, who stand close to each other, fall that much for a valuable ring, that they do things to each other, they would never consider. My motivation to make this movie was the question, how far would we go to reach our goals, and what can all shatter on that way. Another reason was, that the film asks this question hidden in an entertaining heist movie with an amusing point.
