Eligibility Requirements
- Films must have been completed on or after January 1, 2020.
- Non-English language films must include English subtitles.
- All entries must be submitted through the FilmFreeway platform in an acceptable format.
- Each film may only be submitted to one primary category. However, additional categories are available for consideration (if applicable).

Film Length Requirements
- Short Films: Must be 60 minutes or less, including credits.
- Feature Films: Must be over 60 minutes, including credits.
- Unspecified Categories: If a category does not specify short or feature length, there is no restriction on film duration.

Film Content Requirements
- All submissions must be original works and must not infringe on any third-party rights.
- Films containing pornographic content, hate speech, or violating local or international laws are prohibited.
- Submitted films should align with the mission and spirit of the Seattle International Film Awards, promoting innovation, artistic value, and social relevance.

Judging Criteria
- Films will be evaluated based on creativity and innovation, storytelling, narrative structure, visual aesthetics, sound design, and emotional impact.
- The jury comprises international professionals from the film industry, ensuring a fair and impartial evaluation process.
