Awards & Prizes

๐—ฆ๐—›๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—ง ๐—™๐—œ๐—Ÿ๐— ๐—ฆ - Over the course of each season, a number of Official Selections will be made. Those selected have the opportunity to showcase their film live at our annual event in London, and will also receive our official award laurel and certificate. Award Winners in the annual competition will receive our official award laurel, certificate & statuette.

Annual Awards:
Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Original Score, Best Visual FX, Best Hair, Makeup & Costume, Best Production Design, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Ensemble Cast & the Grand Jury Award.

Rules & Terms

Scream Power Horror Fest accepts films from a wide variety of themes, placing no restrictions on the content of your submissions. We encourage filmmakers with bold, unique and powerful stories to submit, providing they adhere to the full list of rules and terms below.

โŸ All submissions must be under 40 minutes in duration.

โŸ Foreign language films (non-English speaking) must have subtitles in English.

โŸ Submitted films must have been made after January 1st, 2017.

โŸ Entry fees are paid in full at the time of submission. You can only pay/submit through FilmFreeway. Refunds are not permitted.

โŸ All submissions must be fully complete at the time of submission. Incomplete submissions will not be selected.

โŸ Scream Power Horror Fest will take place in October 2021. The venue will be announced within at least three months of the event.

โŸ By submitting to us, you are giving consent to have your films promoted via our website and social media pages. This includes the use of posters, photographs and trailers. We will not post the full-length version of your film until the event (if selected). Films selected for the annual event will be asked to provide an HD, MOV or MP4 copy of the film.

โŸ The releases for all content including, but not limited to, music and talent must be obtained by the filmmaker. Scream Power Horror Fest is not liable for any copyright infringement or unauthorised usage.

โŸ We reserve the right to refuse entries from the competition at any time.
