SCENE NUMBER 6 THE EXISTENCE OF GOD
Rangam 6 Dhaivam Undu
(Scene Number 6 The Existence of God)
This is a 72 minutes feature film, that takes us through the journey of a boy, from his childhood, to his adolescence, to his youth, along with the situations & people who transformed him to a transgender person.
The film also points a finger, to the various discriminations in society, between the privileged & non - privileged. Though, in the film, its depicted only in the name of colour.
It also showcases how a transgender is perceived by people in different strata of the society. Even by a different transgender itself.
Though the film doesn't mention anything particular about the timeline, its neither very long ago, nor is it very futuristic too. The geographic location is also very familiar to the viewers.
Its a universal subject, that can happen anywhere in the world..,
