Samyukta Panth, now age 22, won her first film festival in 2018.

Most recently, she has completed a short documentary about her grandparents.

She is heavily influenced by the cinema-verité and New Hollywood trends of the 1960s and 1970s.

Her favorite films include Dog Day Afternoon (1975), Symbiopsychotaxiplasm Take One (1968), High School (1968), Moonlight (2016), Slingblade (1996), and Mystery Train (1989).
