Born and raised in New York City, Ryan's short films have been produced and screened internationally, and continue to gain popularity with cult audiences. In the past, he has freelanced as a writer and director for MTV, Troma Entertainment, and High Times Magazine. Ryan also hosts his horror-themed heavy metal radio show "Death Rattle" under his DJ name MT Casket every first Wednesday of the month on Gimme Metal.
