Winner of the Fund for Cinematographic Development (FDC) of the Ministry of Culture, in the category of Regional Stories of the province of Sucre in 2017 with the short film Saint Plantain. He has participated in different national and international film festivals, such as the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival and has received recognitions and awards at the Seoul International Food Film Festival in South Korea and the Up-and-Coming International Film Festival in Hannover, Germany.
He is currently developing short film projects and his feature film feature debut.
