It may sound trite or obvious but I love hearing laughter during the screening of one of our films. Getting the laugh from a crowd on an anticipated joke or visual gag is nice, but hearing the crowd pick out something else and breaking up is amazing.
I started in animation prior to high school and then got my hands on a video camera and animation went to the wayside. During college I met my film partner Eric Myles and we have been making a lot of silly things ever since. Some good, some that will never see the light of day.
As technology and accessibility became more commonplace I have found we are able to be quicker, and we have been involved in 24, 48 and 100 hour film contests where the project is written, shot and edited within the allotted time frame. The creativity of the cast and crew, the speed of it all and the surprisingly solid end results I find bring an energy to some projects that might have been overthought and crushed before ever getting in front of the lens.
Anyway, I have 5000 words I can use but I just broke 1000 and personally can't really stand talking about myself, but please, watch our films, laugh, help find us a producer who likes to make genre films as we still have a feature film or two n our bucket list...much like everyone else on this site I assume.
